A woman standing in a dance studio with mirrored walls, wearing a black sleeveless shirt with 'EXHALE STUDIO' printed on it and blue leggings. She is smiling and holding a phone, with her reflection visible in the mirrors. The studio has a ballet barre, black exercise balls, artwork on the wall, and other exercise mats visible in the background. The text overlay says 'MEET Amanda.'

I’ve always loved teaching and coaching. I’ve been a tennis pro, a corporate recruiter, a college career counselor, and even a tech advisor in grad school (go Wolfpack!). The common thread in my random career path is that I love helping people move, learn, and feel strong and capable. Now I run my own small business, and when I’m not working, I’m probably solo backpacking, camping, cooking something cozy, practicing or teaching yoga, or negotiating with my “office staff,” Mavis the Mastiff and Rosie the Scottie.

After growing up in ballet and being told I didn’t have “the right body,” I became fiercely committed to movement that welcomes everyone. During COVID, I wandered into one of Nicole’s in-person barre classes and immediately fell in love with how powerful it made me feel. That’s the energy I want to bring to class: strong, playful, musical, and pressure-free.
