Lizzie grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, before moving to North Carolina in 2010. She met her husband, Don, while living and working in Chapel Hill. A lifelong dancer, Lizzie discovered her love of barre in Chapel Hill! After a short move to Columbia, SC, Lizzie and Don relocated to Burlington for Don's new job as Head Men's Golf Coach at Elon. The move brought Lizzie to Pure Barre Greensboro, where she taught barre classes for 3 1/2 years. After some time off after having children, Lizzie joined the team at The SpinBarre Burlington, where she taught barre for one year. 

Lizzie currently works full-time at Elon University. In her free time, Lizzie enjoys baking, exercising, being an active member of Front Street Methodist Church, spending time with friends and family, and keeping up with her two daughters, Cate and Mary Martin.Lizzie loves movement of all kinds but believes that barre strengthens both your mind and your body and is excited to be back on the mic teaching at Exhale!

Lizzie loves to bring fun playlists to her classes, and her favorite barre exercise is seated pretzel.
